Secret Annex
Anne's diary ends here.
In 1944 August 4th., Between the tenth and the eleventh in the morning side of the quay Prinsengracht 263rd house stopped car. Stepped out several people: a uniformed SS officer and at least three favorites from the Dutch secret police - they are in civilian clothes, but with weapons. Someone had accused the cottage hiding people.
About Anne Frank's diary I already knew a long time ago and I wanted to read, and not so long ago, my mother bought this book for me. While reading the book I could not wait for the end because my heart was shaking, and I was curious about what happens at the end of it, how it all happens. This book is not the most cruel of my read books about the Second World War, but the same story as Ana with seven other residents had to hide cramped attic for two years and before the end of the war denounced something that someone is hiding in the building, is overkill. All the dreams she thought about everything has no reason because she died in a concentration camp. Tragic behavior of people. Reading Anna's diary you can learn a lot from the fact, as 13-15 year old girl's thoughts really dissimilar to a child, such years as her I wasn't thinking like this. All teenagers would like to know yourself, your body. In some countries was even banned this book because of "pornographic" content, but all young people come a point to know everything. She wrote a private diary for herself and was honestly about everything and if you wanted to make it easier in hideout, paper was a miracle "because paper has more patieance than people. "
About the book. Annes Frank Diary is about a Jewish girl named Anne Frank who gets for her 13th birthday a blank diary. SHe tells the story about how they lived in secret hiding because of Hitler cruel behivior with Jewish.
“Where there's hope, there's life. It fills us with fresh courage and makes us strong again.”
She was imaging the empty book like an imaginary friend and named it "Kitty". Anne writes faithfully, describing her secret wishes and feelings. Inspiration is that she knew what might happen, but despite that, she was fun and was talkative. When her family is forced into hiding to avoid capture by the German police, the book becomes like a lifeline for Anne, who describes the fear, hunger, longing, friends, how her parents annoy her and boredom she experiences during two years living in the place she calls the "secret annex." Trapped in cramped quarters with her parents and sister, three members of the Van Daan family, and an elderly neighbor, Mr. Dussel, Anne begins to mature, even experiencing her first love in the annex, and finds her greatest solace in the written word. She is a remarkably clever, thoughtful narrator, and her diary is as entertaining as it is a significant historical document.
Everyone has inside of him a piece of good news. The good news is that you don’t know how great you can be! How much you can love! What you can accomplish! And what your potential is!
Reading Anne Frank's diary teaches about the Second World War, the history, growth, self loving, being happy, tolerance, about family relationship, Jewish experiences and others. I don't know why, but I interested in reading books about World War Two. I would recommend it to everyone. Kind of simple, but in other way cruel.
Love,
Audrey xx
